I recently retired and decided I wanted to spend the rest of my life traveling the world as much as possible. Ever since I was a small child I’ve enjoyed hitting the road. My parents were avid campers so I was raised in the Midwest and summers were full of camping and fishing vacations. I grew to love nature and spent many lovely summers in the north woods of Wisconsin and Minnesota. As I grew older I started taking long road trips around the United States and have been in every state except for Alaska and Hawaii.
A few years ago I began to realize a life long dream to visit Europe. Although I’ve traveled with friends I prefer solo travel. In the past few years I’ve come to realize my fierce sense of independence and self confidence.
I believe that traveling solo has made my life more fulfilling and I’ve learned a lot about myself. Hopefully this blog will help others realize their potential for fun and adventure thru traveling solo.
